One of the funny things Dan and I have discovered recently is that the impending arrival of Baby Summa is driving us to want to have a lot more "date nights." I think it's just the desire to want a homemade meal and some nice adult conversation before our world revolves around take out and baby talk.
We've been cooking up a storm at home. Last week we tackled some killer fajitas and this Saturday we spent a good portion of the day making Bubba's secret tomato sauce. And of course we had to document all our cooking with some pictures so one day we can show our son that we did, in fact, used to cook!
Something else to note - not sure if anyone ever looks at the recipes I include on the blog but thought I should take a minute to explain. These are all Summa-tested (meaning Anne made, Dan approved) recipes. It's not a 5-star rating, mind you, but we like to think we have somewhat refined taste buds in our house!
