Mac's first Thanksgiving

The annual Thanksgiving hike

Sorry it's taken me so long to update our blog. Mac has been diagnosed with acid reflux so we've been trying to help the poor little guy get some medicine so he can sleep! He seems to be doing a little better this week, which is good news because it just kills me to hear him cry.

Anyway, our first Thanksgiving with Mac was great. We headed out to Crystal Lake to visit my parents and to relax for a few days. Mac had fun meeting tons of new relatives and friends. I think he was happy to finally see some people besides Mom and Dad! We tried to take Mac out for our annual family Thanksgiving hike but it was too cold. But he still got to meet everyone which was really the most important part anyway.

Wednesday night Dan and I went out with a bunch of my friends from high school, which was really fun. It's not quite the same as it used to be (meaning I can't really drink and we had to be home by 11:00) but it was great to see everyone none-the-less! And we didn't have to wait in line to get into the bar because we went at 9:00. See? There are perks to being older!
