Saturday we were all up bright and early to head out to the farmers market. The Lincoln Park arts festival was going on at the same time, so we were able to check that out as well. Saturday night my Mom was nice enough to come down and watch Mac so Dan and I could go to the U2 concert (a late anniversary gift to ourselves.) Not only was it nice to have a "date night" but the concert was absolutely amazing!
Sunday we decided to have family day out at Arlington Park. We'd never been before but what a great experience! They have a whole designated "family area" where you can bring a picnic and sit outside and watch the horses. We even found our own lucky colt...Bigtime Mac!
