I hope everyone had a fun and festive Valentine's Day! We spent the weekend just hanging out as a family and trying to spend some quality time with Mac. I think Dan and I are both realizing the impending arrival of our baby girl, so we want Mac to feel like he's getting some extra attention before his world is turned upside down!
Friday we had our Fantasy Kingdom adventure (reference "The Bully") and Saturday we had fun taking Mac to Wiggleworms. He usually goes on Wednesday with Sarah, but we skipped this week due to the snow storm. This is Mac's second round of Wiggleworms and he seems to enjoy it. The kids basically sit in a circle and sing cute songs and do a bunch of hand motions.
The parents, on the other hand, are the ones who are truly fascinating. All the adults are eyeballing the heck out of all the other kids to see if their own kids are at the same developmental milestones. It's hilarious. And I'll be quick to point out that Dan and I are were just as guilty of surveying the room as everyone else. You can't help it!
I swear, our poor kids. All they want to do is play and you've got all of us neurotic/overachiever/Type A parents saying, "Why isn't my son grabbing the bubbles like Charlie? Is something wrong with him?!" I guess it's a good reminder to take a deep breath and realize as long as they're healthy they're all going to be just fine.
We don't have a lot of exciting pictures to share, so I'm just posting some shots of our little monkey running around in his Valentine's Day pajamas.
