I cannot believe that one week from today we'll be packing our bags and heading to the hospital to welcome Baby Girl Summa to our family! It's so much different than last time where every day we were wondering - is this the day she's going to arrive? It's kind of crazy to be able to put the birth of your child on the calendar but believe me, no complaints here!
As you can imagine, we've been laying low trying to just get some last-minute things done around the house. I've been cleaning up a storm while Mac naps and Dan studies for finals. He's officially done with grad school next week, which is perfect timing! I've got one more week in the office and then...3 months of maternity leave vacation!
We did manage to get out for a bit last night to enjoy a fantastic dinner at Mia Francesca with my parents. If you've never been, this is a great local place that I hear is about to expand to a franchise outside the Chicagoland area. We sat out back in their coach house, which was perfect since Mac was in tow. And being in a small, quaint little space really did remind us of being in Italy!
Since the weather has been warmer lately we've been trying to spend more time outside. I've been horrible about pictures but am sure we'll be taking plenty soon. In the meantime, just some random cute pictures of Mac to share and one more of my 9-month belly!
