My sister and I won't be in town to celebrate my Mom's birthday in July, so we decided to give her an early gift. Since all of us love to cook, we took her to a "Cooking with Morel Mushrooms" class at the Lake Geneva School of Cooking last weekend. Turns out we were the only people signed up for the class, so we had a private lesson from Chef John.

The entire experience was amazing! Each of us was responsible for preparing a course, plating the final meal and then serving it to the table. The food was delicious and Chef John was fun (and pretty funny!) After a few cocktails, we were all happily dancing around the kitchen, laughing and having a great time. If you're ever in the area, I would highly recommend checking this out!
