Two weekends ago, we were up in Lake Geneva for the annual Indian Hills neighborhood summer celebration. The theme this year was Hawaiian and included the usual kid's parade, lakefront Olympics and evening luau. The theme of the parade was named after the Hawaiian fish referenced above and our floats had to have some sort of Hawaiian theme as well. Since Dan and I are both working parents, our float wasn't nearly as elaborate as some of our neighbors. None the less, Mac had fun riding in his wagon and sporting his very fancy grass skirt. Paige slept - as usual - but looked so pretty in her floral romper.
Mac also did some swimming with Mom and Dad, which was such a treat. Last summer the water was so cold he never had much of a chance to get in the lake. We're hoping for lots more warm weather in the weeks ahead so we can keep practicing blowing bubbles and whatnot.
