Announcing Mr. and Mrs. Katelman!!!
M&P
This weekend marked the highly anticipated wedding of our beloved nanny, Sarah. In the spring, Sarah had asked if Mac and Paige would do the honors of being her ring bearer and flower girl. Needless to say, we were thrilled (and nervous!) Friday we got on the road for our trip to Des Moines. The kids were honestly pretty good in the car and the drive went surprisingly quick. We checked into our hotel downtown, had a quick bite and called it a day.Late that night, Dan arrived from San Diego, so the kids woke up to a surprise visit from Daddy. They've both been missing him a bunch (as have I!) so everyone was in a good mood to start the day. The actual wedding ceremony didn't take place until 5:30 that evening, so we had plenty of time to get out and enjoy some of the sites. We paid a visit to the bustling Farmer's Market before heading off for an afternoon swim at the Wakonda Country Club.

After that, it was time to get ready for the wedding. We started out by taking pictures at Joe's parents house, which was beautiful and looked like a scene straight from "Father of the Bride." Then we made our way to the church for the big event. Although the kids didn't quite make it down the aisle, they looked adorable, which I guess is really all that matters. Sarah, as expected, looked absolutely stunning and the entire wedding was gorgeous. From the church to the flowers to the setting, the entire thing made me want to get married all over again!Cocktail hour on the patio
