Mac had way more fun outside the museum than inside!
We are busy, busy, busy packing for Italy. I can't believe our trip is (almost!) finally here! So much to do - I've made lists but am realizing all of a sudden all these things I've forgotten. To make things a bit more complicated, Dan is off to Texas this week on a last-minute business trip. That leaves me to finish packing while trying to keep Mac from unpacking everything I put in the suitcase!
As you can imagine, we spent most of the weekend getting ready for our vacation. We did, however, manage to sneak away on Friday for a relaxing dinner to celebrate my birthday. It's been so long since we've had a babysitter I forgot how nice it is to have adult time! I also managed to make it out to the 'burbs on Saturday for a Girl's Night Out dinner with all of my friends from high school. We had SO much fun catching up, laughing and reminiscing about old times. Such a needed break in the midst of the chaos!
Wish I had lots of cute new Mac pictures to share, but our trip out to the Museum of Contemporary Art this weekend didn't exactly go as planned. To be fair, I think I forget sometimes that Mac is still so little. Surprisingly he wasn't "wild" about sitting at the crafts table and putting together a collage. Nor was he too keen on checking out the new Liam Gillick instillation. Go figure! I think it will have to wait until he's a bit older!
