South Bend celebration

Go Navy!

The infamous touchdown Jesus

Look at that scoreboard!

It doesn't get much better than this - weather in the high 60's in November AND a Navy victory over Notre Dame! Dan and I headed to South Bend this weekend to watch what we thought would be a complete and utter massacre. To our absolute surprise and delight, Navy defeated the Irish with a final score of 23-21. I don't know if Navy played that good, Notre Dame played that bad or if the sun was just blinding touchdown Jesus. Whatever the reason, it was fun to be a part of such a momentous event!

Sunday we enjoyed the sunshine with a long afternoon walk and a trip to Oz Park. We must have been temporarily dillusional due to the gorgeous weather because we even let Mac play on the playground with 1,000 other kids (read: swine flu breeding ground!) We're still trying to get him vaccinated before our trip in two weeks but in the meantime it's lots of hand washing and hand sanitizer!

In other news...the time has come to make our official "big news" announcement on the blog. As I'm sure most of you know by now, Dan and I are expecting our second bundle of joy this March. And to add even more excitement, we found out this week that we're going to be the proud parents of a baby girl this time around! We couldn't be happier and are for the millionth time are counting all of our blessings!
