The countdown begins

Dan officially took off today for Afghanistan. I'm happy to report that he's in really good spirits. Thankfully he's surrounded by a bunch of great guys, which definitely helps things. I'm trying my best to be tough - some days/hours are better than others. All I ask is for everyone to please, please keep Dan in your thoughts and prayers. I've been saying our nightly prayer with the kids but we could definitely use some backup support!
