Last weekend we decided to take a mini-vacation to Palm Springs. We went last year with my parents and had such a good time. It's only 2-hours from San Diego, so just far enough to feel like you've gone somewhere without having the headache of a long car trip.
I wish I had more pictures to share but we spent almost all our time hanging out by the pool. The weather was perfect - warm, mid-80's with a nice breeze. Sunday morning we got up early and went on a hike in the Coachella Valley. It's so fun to get out and see completely different types of landscapes. The desert never disappoints - absolutely beautiful! Now we're in countdown mode to our next big trip...Panama!
