Halloween has become a big deal at the Summa house. We started talking about costumes in August, decorating the house in September and counting down the days in October. Mac decided to be a red ninja this year (a la the LEGO movie) and Paige, thankfully, skipped the Elsa craze and opted to be a mermaid. (PS - I painstakingly braided her hair the night before so she could look like Madison from "Splash." Please applaud my effort.)
The best part about Halloween was having Nana and Papa in town. We always tell them how crazy it is in our neighborhood and this year they got to see it first hand. Our neighbors didn't disappoint with their over-the-top, Hollywood production-style set-up. Hope everyone else had fun trick-or-treating, too!
