Science guy

Mac has always loves science and experiments, so when the annual science fair rolled around at school I knew we had to participate. The rules for Kindergarten participation are that parents can help decide on experiments and put together materials but otherwise the kids have to do everything on their own. I helped Mac come up with the idea of testing what would happen to an egg in different solutions. He was responsible for picking what solutions to test and for conducting the entire experiment. It took us a week but by the end we had a really amazing tri-fold board to showcase all the hard work he put into "The Bouncing Egg" experiment.

At the fair, Mac didn't end up winning, but he did get acknowledged by the head of the science fair for being the only Kindergartener who did his entire presentation and write up all by himself. Next year Mac and Paige can do their experiment together since they'll be at the same school, which is going to be great!
